Hello all; I guess I didn't make clear the fact that I live in the forests of BC, a place I researched very carefully for it's air quality, before I moved here from London Ont. Air quality is a given here, that's why community consciousness doesn't usually defer to air quality regulations. My point was that I'm suspicious of people regulating other people where there is no need, call it anti-big-brotherism. I'm sympathetic to the cause of clean air campaigners, as I once lived in the shadow of a candy factory. I realize that not everyone can do what I've done to clean up the air they breathe, but I don't think my gutted cat is putting any strain on global ecological picture. Go ahead and snipe away, I won't change my stance. |
