I received a new catalog from Germany today. No it's not the new Reimo catalog that everyone is waiting for, it's from a different company, but is a '98 catalog, and has some interesting side tent developments.

Good news for you EV owners, there are now tents that are designed to work with the VW T4., and you don't need to bolt a rail to the side of your van. The picture looks like the flap extents over the roof of the van to keep the rain out. A really cool looking tent too. I'll try to get it scanned and up ASAP.

And if you got to have a floor with your side tent, it now appears that there is a model available with a floor. This appears to be an updated model of the Gemini tent which is now called "Weekend". This tent also says it is designed for the VW T4, but is much more expensive than the Gemini was. 1495.00 DM As soon as I have my pricing on it, I'll let everyone know.

On to watertanks. The recent grey water tank thread on the Vanagon list has made me want one. I've scanned some pics and have them at:

I still need to do some work there, but if anyone wants to get in on a group purchase let me know which tanks you are interested in. I'm looking at a universal tank to mount under my sink drain on my '74. We would also need the valves and mounting kits.

Happy camping!
