Hello all,

My bently manual is dated 1977. In the engine cooling section, there is no diagram that explains the coolant path for 1986 and newer vanagons. The diagram shown is for an 1983-1985 Vanagon. The thermostat location, on the water pump, is a clear indication of the 1.9 l engine. Do the newer editions of the Bently manual show anything different? I see no indication that the coolant routing is the same or different?
