Listfolk,

Next week, Evon and I will be taking a long-awaited vacation.  While I'm
gone, Jerry DeBaun will be taking over the operation of the business.  For
those who haven't already met Jerry via e-mail, he handles many of the
e-mail price quotes for The Bus Depot.

It will pretty much be business as usual, except for a couple of things:

1)  To reach the Bus Depot, from Monday 3/2 to Wed. 3/11, call
     >>>>  (978) 897-8732   <<<<
This reaches Jerry's home office. If you need to reach us and don't have
that number handy, don't sweat it - the regular Bus Depot number
(215-234-VWVW) will forward to Jerry's number automatically. But since this
costs me $$$ each time it forwards a call, I'd prefer if you just called
Jerry directly if possible.

2)  All E-mail to The Bus Depot (sales@busdepot.com, list@busdepot.com, or
orders@busdepot.com) will automatically forward to Jerry (or you can e-mail
him directly at jerryd@ziplink.net ).  However, e-mail to my personal
mailbox (netcarrier.com) will not be read until I return.  As usual, if you
need a rush quote or order, put RUSH in the subject header.

3) We'll still be shipping as usual (within 24-48 hours in most cases;
sooner if you need it fast).  However, to make things a bit easier on
Jerry, orders under $75 (except Vanagon Bentley manuals) and C.O.D. orders
will not ship until I return, so allow a little extra time for those
orders.  I will be in regular contact with Jerry when I'm gone, so if
anything needs my personal attention I'll be accessable.

Again, all this applies to next week.  I'll be back the middle of the
following week, and will immediately send out any COD orders, etc.  Evon
and I are going to Florida and the Bahamas with a couple of friends.
(We're expecting in May -our first- so this will be our last vacation as a
"couple.")   With all of the bad weather in Florida thanks to El Nino, we
actually had to call and make sure our hotel was still standing!!
Hopefully, it will all blow over (no pun intended) by the time we get
there.
