I have done that trip to Iceland with my 1978 VW Camper who now resides here
in Canada. Went through many rivers and a volcanic eruption (Hekla). Anyone
interested in Iceland travel email me directly.

I have also shipped my van from Europe using DEUGRO, the company that ships
all Volkswagen vans to North America and other friends have used a
Volkswagen Van as a container for their belongings, because it was cheaper
to ship a car than same size boxes, well, a piano was in there too.
