An 84 Sunroof GL that used to park in my neighborhood is now for sale. I've seen it a few times and can say that it is solid. I didn't look for rust, and it didn't stand out because it is metalic brown.

The owner, Eric, says that the sunroof works fine, but the seal is torn. He says that the only time that it leaks is when driving the van downhill after a heavy rainfall. Sounds like the drains are plugged.

Here's the details, as I got it from him: 109k, new engine at 11k (yep!) no dents, front blower fan works at one speed, dark brown with brown GL interior, rear wiper, manual tranny. He was a bit foggy as to wether the rear heater core stunk, no biggie. He's selling because he no longer needs to haul teenagers to church. He has no idea what to ask for it. I told him what I wanted for my plain 84 GL so don't take advantage of him (not that anyone on the list would ;) )

His phone number is 614-299-2658, and he's expecting calls from out of town.

I'll look it over in detail for anyone who wants.

My wife is now happy. She watched me write this over my shoulder so I wouldn't be tempted to get this van.
