I saw a Country Homes EV conversion in San Jose the other day. It looked kinda like the Westfalia conversions -- basically a "Weekender MultiVan" kind of thing, rather than a full camper. I guess, though, if VW does not decide to import the new EV's, you could get one through these guys. The Country Homes pop-top was always better with the top going straight up -- lots more room and way less claustrophobic up top.

Today I saw an ad for a motorhome show in the San Francisco area. The ad showed many shots ov a VW/Winnebago Rialta going down the road, through the woods, etc. I recall that Winnebago does other conversions besides motorhome/campers. They also make cargo conversions. I wonder if anybody has tried to get something like a long-wheelbase Doublecab through them. You might need to get a custom bed as well to be a conversion. The Rialta is based on a singlecab chassis.

Country Homes may have a similar deal -- after all VW dealers can't sell the Winnebago EVs -- the ones that do had to become Winnebago dealers as well (at least in the US).

Malcolm
