(Brief History) Bought van with rebuilt motor....not installed. Some parts missing :(

I'm beginning to put the engine back together on my 81 Westy. I have the Bentley's manual and several others but directions are not that good (in my opinion). Specifically, does anyone know of a website or archives that might provide me with more detailed instructions on how to install an engine with all the hoses, sensors, etc., in their right spot??? For example, where exactly does the Thermo-time switch go. Ive looked at all possible locations on the block and cant find where it is supposed to be installed. Also, installing engine tins are also becoming a major pain.

Any advice or assistance is greatly appreciated!

Thanks Scott
