We're off by the 28th for the East Coast tour. Would be nice to meet other Vanagon listers face to face, but all I have to offer is viewing of EVC packed and working (dirty, too). We'll be on NJ Coast next week; ferry to Delaware Coast; do the Bridge/Tunnel across Chesapeke; and then try all those ferry connections in NC. Will be in Tampa by the 16th for a week. Key West is probable on the 23rd and chasing alligators in the Everglades for the 28th of March. How's New Mexico now that El Nino has dumped rain all over the place?

The van is pretty well-equipped and comfortable now, but don't expect great changes; it's almost as it was from the factory. Is there any consensus about leaving the upper bed behind to save weight?

Look forward to seeing/hearing from you, Gary Gary and Belle from Hallowell, ME garyc@saturn.caps.maine.edu '72 Westy (gone to iron oxide) '97 EVC "Flash"
