Although the Vanagon dash in exceptionally easy to repair....... MAN ARE YOU W r o n g! This is a case where a little knowledge is a dangerous thing. Learn about engines, then tackle the hard stuff. The dash of a car. It's filled with stuff: pumbing, wiring, wiper stuff, freon, pedel assemble, steering, duct work, cable to run stuff.

I once took on a heater core in a 78 ford, ended up with the front seat out, the rear of the trans. dropped, and then resorted to cutting the dash sheet metal. GOOD LUCK!
