Hey there, My sister and brother-in-law are interested in a Eurovan GL. Recently, they drove one that they liked, the problem is that it's a GL without a weekender bed. They have seen our '87 GL with a weekender bed and love it. However, they really would rather have a Eurovan with weekender bed. My understanding is that weekender beds were only available in Eurovan MV's. They prefer not to get a MV because they want to have a middle bench seat and not the two rear facing seats. So now to the questions.... 1. Can I add a weekender bed from a Eurovan MV to a Eurovan GL? 2. Will the middle bench get in the way when the bed folded down? 3. Has anyone out there done this? 4. How much did it cost and how difficult was it? All responses welcome and thanks for your time! Chris P. Seattle, WA '89 Diesel Jetta "Jake" '87 GL Wasserboxer "Rosa" '82 Diesel Vanagon "Billie-Rae" |
