I just checked my compression and I wanted to get some list wisdom about the results. The values are as follows: Cyl 1 124 psi Cyl 2 153 psi Cyl 3 166 psi Cyl 4 144 psi According to Bentley the minimum pressure should be at least 119 psi and all cylinders should be within 44 psi of each other. It seems to me that my engine is OK according to Bentley, but I am worried about the low value in cylinder 1. The range also seems too variable. What is the prognosis for my engine? Should I rebuild it now? Wait? Thanks, John Brown |
