As an aside, as I had mentioned in the past, this stuff was available briefly in WV, 4-5 years ago. Then it promptly dissapeared, the Prestone and now Texaco are the only currently available phosphate free fills. I had used the Zerex "Extreme" (I think they called it) back when I bought the Corrado which would have been about 94, but it is not around here any longer, saw it down in TX and AZ last time I was down those ways. Have used the Prestone with good sucess in the '85 and now am trying the Texaco cause it is available and cheap (it meets GM's Dexcool requirements so I figure it's OK plus has a real intense cool orange color) John vwbus@mindspring.com |
