Hey all, I'm trying to get the arm rest off of the front seats of an 1987 and newer Vanagon. Got me stumped? The older style (1986) has a hex bolt down the center of the hinge point. It is covered by a black plastic plug. Pull the plug, remove the bolt, it's off. The 1987 (the adjustable arm rests) has no plug! I don't think I should have to cut the material? But It feels like it has the same setup. Anyone have any idea how to get these off Without cutting the material?
