I am the new authority on all things vanagon. Not. But I did have a problem with my fan acouple of weeks ago. I tested it by hooking up the jumper cables and zapping it for a second. It worked. So then I changed the fan relay switch under the dash. My fan now works. When it turns on, I don't know; but I do know that my temp never goes above the halfway mark or three quarter mark when idling. I think that a high amp jump start could dammage the relays, but I have heard others say that they do not beleive this is possible. Another thing to check (or change) would be the radiator temp. switch, but I doubt it. Brad 87 west wolf weekend |
