How should a used electric FI fuel pump be stored? Full of gas? (that'll go to varnish, but might protect the seals). Or Dry? to keep fuel from messing up seals. I removed the pump last summer, and replaced it with one form the 'other' bus. It was making noises, but dead yet. I did drain it, it took weeks to dry out. But now I have reservations on what I did. If one does store it full, what do you put it in to keep from spilling the gas?! Does it matter or we should go back to our regularly scheduled mayhem! - Jeff Iwanna21/23windowsunroofDeluxewalkthru! to be used for daily driving '80 Westi (2) BOTH FOR SALE '66 Bus, Kombi FOR SALE '22 Piano, upright Kohler & Cambell FOR SALE '67 Sqbk '64 Ford Crewcab '87 Subaru 4WD '97 Nissan Quest Grass Valley, California, USA Jeffrey.Carver@Aerojet.com |
