> Is there an alternative to the stock lug lug nuts for the late model Vanagon alloy rims available. I just called my local dealer's parts dept and their price is $16.28 EACH!< Yep, big shock. Last year I managed to buy a set of alloys that also came without the nuts and bolts. Thought it would be no problem to get them from the dealer. After working out the cost it turned out to be as much as what I paid for the rims. Fortunately the PO of the rims 'found' them again so I did not have to shell out all that money. You do need the proper nuts. They are different from the ones used on steel wheels. However I was told (but did not check it out) that you may find them cheaper in generic wheel and tire shops.
