Try about a quart of ATF or of Marvel Mystery Oil, or some Redline Lifter Freer-upper in the crankcase (do not over-fill). This worked for me (Marvel Mystery) and has worked for many others. I changed the oil after a couple of hundred miles, but i still put about a pint of the mystery oil in with the new oil to allow the cleaning to continue, which marvel reccomends. steve Kenn Draymon wrote: > I have an 85 GL 100,000 Km. with a distinct valve noise knock.
