I just bought a 1985 and checked with my local VW parts supplier for a repair manual. The answer was that the only thing ever produced was the official shop manual, offered at $107 (Canadian). I grew up with John Muir's "How to Keep Your Volkswagen Alive". Is it really true that there is nothing out there but the official (and probably undecipherable) version? Steve Miller Victoria, B.C. |
