I apologize in advance for the relatively trivial nature of this post, but I thought my best bet would be to go to the experts. Please feel free to respond to me directly. ** What would be a reasonable price on an '85 Weekender, standard transmission, minor (relatively) rust, 120,000 miles. Ther mechanic who is selling it says he'll do a new head gasket as a condition of the sale. Asking price is $2500. Is that in the right range? I understanding that it's difficult to say without seeing the vehicle, but assumming it's otherwise tight (good rubber, brakes, front end, etc), what's the usual price range? Thanks for the help. _Nick |
