The older style (1986) has a hex bolt down the center of the hinge point. It is covered by a black plastic plug. Pull the plug, remove the bolt, it's off. The 1987 (the adjustable arm rests) has no plug! I don't think I should have to cut the material? But It feels like it has the same setup. Anyone have any idea how to get these off Without cutting the material? >>
between the armrest and seat, there is a set-pin in the shaft that holds the armrest on. use a long finishing nail, and tap it out. then the armrest pulls right off the shaft. boy, it would really sucked if you have cut the material.... ;<)~ chris |
