Why wait till it is dark and rainy and you have to lie in a mud puddle to fix a broken CV? Why spend the extra cash on new CVs and half shafts to keep around for when yours go bad? Why not have yours rebuilt by a CV rebuilding shop and get a life time warranty as well? Its certainly cheaper than having two sets of halfshafts and more reasuring to know that they aren't going to self destruct on you when you are out in the middle of nowhere. I really wouldn't want to have my trip interupted by having to do the CVs down in the desert somewhere when i could've had the problem taken care of before it happens.

i mean, i like to drive my van places to have fun. Not drive my van around, waiting to have 'fun' fixing something that couldve been fixed before hand. But that's just me.

just my preventive maintenance $0.02 worth, Fred
