I've gotten pretty good at adjusting this every 6-8 months, but it won't STAY adjusted. It starts giving me a hard time getting into second, that seems to be the operative indication that it is falling out of adjustment, then I have to crawl under and adjust the rod again. It's a pain because it really seems to be hit or miss process that usually takes at least an hour and results in a sprained neck! Are the splines just wearing out? Anyone else have this problem and come up with a fix that doesn't involve replacing the rods?
