a kid w/ a band...first car...limited income.. forget the vanagon, go for a '68-'71 bus or westy... i've got a friend in your same situation - in a band..college student.. he has a '71 westy. the benefit of the '68-'71 buses are they are easy to work on, easy to get parts for (bug engine) and cheap to maintain. if i were you, i'd look for a '68-'71. also, check out the type2 list, they'd be able to do you more good than the Vanagon list. chris |
