I owned an '84 Vanagon a few years back that I had to part with, and missed it ever since. Just bought an '85 Westy and am in the process of fixing it up. It was well taken care of, so most "fixing" is pretty cosmetic. The po had new shocks put on just 2k ago, but the vehicle still looks like its taking off. The actual height of the body off of the rear wheels looks as I remember it should, but the front looks like there is too much clearance, hence the front is higher than the back. Any suggestions on the cause of this, and corrective action I can take to get it more leveled? Thanks. |
