The info I've picked up about oils with Teflon additives says they will improve your gas mileage and protection for the first 200 - 400 miles, after that there's no difference compared to regular motor oil. Oh yeah, there's one additional side effect.... Teflon does not disolve, the best the vendor's can do is to grind it up into microscopic bits and it is eventually picked up in your filter. I've had good results just changing out my oil/filter every 3mo/3000mi, not too exciting, but it seems to work... <g>
