Interesting prediction. All the talk about engine swaps and all got me thinking lately. But what I'm thinking about is conversion to an electric vehicle. Anybody out there know anything about this possibility? I know, I know -- heavy vehicle made heavier, low power, etc., but I'm thinking of my Vanagon GL daily driver -- short trips to school (work) and back, run to the kids' ball games, to the market for milk, the FLAPS for, well you get the idea...

Just fishin' right now...
