Here's some info...

So now to the questions.... 1. Can I add a weekender bed from a Eurovan MV to a Eurovan GL?

I'm picturing my MV - not looking at it but...The rear seat/bed mounts in rails which are bolted in - I haven't examined a GL closely but perhaps there are existing spots for such - the rear of the rails are also closely tied in with the two utility boxes which support the rear platform which makes up part of the bed.

2. Will the middle bench get in the way when the bed folded down?

Yes. In fact, it's the fact that the rear-facing seats fold up which frees up the space for the bed to extend forward. If you took the middle bench out maybe you'd be ok, but if you need the seating, the two rear-facing seats are probably the way to make it work. FWIW, in my experience, when I've had seven people in the van there have always been two who didn't mind riding backwards. The gang back there seems to have fun, too, facing each other as in a railroad coach. It always seems to become social & lively.

I hope this helps!
