Austin and all; Yes, this is a limited range DC meter. I made one about five years ago using a single chip to drive a ten LED display. Last month I got tired of the prototype sitting on the dash so I printed a circuit board for it .It is small enough to fit in a hollowed out switch blank( like the one below the hazard switch). Becauseit is so small it was just as easy to make some extras. If someone wants to experiment I will send you one for $15. It checks the ECU's closed loop operation, full throttle mode,etc.
