Don't ever buy from the VW dealer unless you have to. I got a replacement breather for my 90 Syncro at the local parts store by measuring the length and diameter and getting from their bulk pipe roll. Since they didn't have metric sizes, I got what was close and muscled it on. Roger Ehret, Gig Harbor.
