Does anyone know if the blocks for the 1.8 liter type 4 engines are interchangeable with a 2 liter block? I have a 2 liter block with some damage and a 1.8 liter engine (I have not torn it down yet) that I would like to upgrade to 2 liter.

What I need to know is if the holes where the cylinders go into the block are the same size on the 1.8 and 2 liters. I know the pistons are different sizes.
