Martin, Dieselees, Great to know this, one sprang a leak on me last weekend on 1.6l diesel in 82 Diesel Westy. Pinhole leak for sure on #2 injector line. Called my mech and other knowledgeable marine diesel mechs for consensus as to whether I should replace the one streaming fuel from the line, or all four as now they are 16 years old. Concensus was just replace the leaking line as this is very rare. My mech had a set of four (much easier to replace all four with brackets in place that one lin) for $10/ I took it and will replace it tomorrow. Guess it happens, but as you say rarely. I was so concerned last weekend as to wonder whether I should carry a spare set, but I feel confident this was a fluke.
