Hi there,

I am looking for velours front seats for my '81 Vanagon. Anyone in Europe who knows of a good source (and where they do not cost a full month wages)?

This Vanagon is my workhorse. It does fine, the only drawback is its lack of power. It's a 1600 normally aspirated diesel (50 hp). I like the diesel part and would want to keep it that way (has to do with local taxes). A bit more power would be nice. Has anyone done a conversion to turbo? I mean swapping the engine since the n/a engine cannot be retrofitted with a turbo. Is it possible to use a Golf (Rabbit/Jetta) engine ?
