Gary.

I scanned an article appearing in an Aussie VW Magazine showing just such a swap ie Subaru 2.2 into a Air Cooled Vanagon. Included pictures showing the interfacing for the Subaru Harness as well as the modified cross member, unfortunately could not make out the tranny adapter. This swap has been carried out down here on quite a few of the Vanagons. I sent the article to Ken Wilford and Jerry De Brun to include on their web sites. I have been told that when I sent this across the file expanded and they are having trouble posting it on their webs. I am trying over this end to create my own web page and post it myself. Unfortunately the file is about 4.5 megs and too long to re post. As soon as we get it up this end I will let you all know.
