The vanagon has a huge beam built into the front dash. this is why it is almost imposible to work under there. It also has side beams built in to the doors. They are used for crash protection and double as duck work for rear sealing vents. This is what makes VW quality Engineering. Air bags are just trash on a vehicle.

ABS? Any good driver with a well balanced vehicle, can stop faster on ice/snow than the poorly designed, poorly engineered GM system. More trash............Pichups with ABS only on the rear? What a joke. Eric
