My experience was that investing $70+ in motor mounts and who knows how much in new clutch plate, pressure plate, pilot bearing, etc., cured the problem for about 1000 miles. I doubt my motor mounts got worn out in that time (sure hope not!) so my assumption is that it's something else -- flywheel surface, perhaps the much-discussed Canadian Sachs clutch plate.

I can't say whether the first clutch plate I put in the van six years ago was a Sachs, but I'm pretty sure the last one was.

Gotta go dig throught the receipts.
