I pried those fasteners up a little with a screw driver just enough to get some wire end crimp pliers in under the top. These crimpers are a little over 1/8 inch thick so they can fit between the head and the board. Do a little prying and they should pop off with no breakage. You could also try putting the screw driver in behind the panel and prying. Just be sure that the tip is right up against the stud of the fastener when you pry. It should pop loose with no pry marks in the front and nobody sees the back any way. This is how I get door panels off too. It works great. Ken Wilford John 3:16
