------------------------------- Hi Ken and List, Speaking from my experience with an 86 it would be very difficult to remove the lower engine tin with all studs installed for header bolts. Leave at least one bolt on each side to make it easier to remove the engine tin. I have cut some holes in my engine tin under the drain plugs, this makes draining the engine heads very easy. This makes it easier than any car I have ever owned. Someone on the list mentioned this hardware modification last summer when I sent a post requesting info about draining and flushing the cooling system. Thanks to whoever you were.
