Subject: 91 side panels from hell

During the process of puchasing my van, the owner was adding on 91 bumpers and side panels. I did not stop him because I did not realize that they would turn out the way they did. They were riveted on a little inaccurately. My Bilstein jack would not fit in properly. In addition, the space between the side pannels and the paint was getting coated with grit. The van has no rust now; but the rusting process was in full swing with the panels. I not so systematicaly pulled all side panels off. What is left over is rivet holes everywhere. They will get covered with GOOP until I find the appropriate time to tell my wife that it needs paint $$$. We just finnished paying $6500 for it. That does not include insurance and all the little modifications that the van is receiving. Gotta blow off some steam here. If anyone wants side panels that are in need of minor fiberglss work, let me know.
