Dane,

Buy an 8' diffuser at Walmart, or at another shop. It is a good cook's
device to spread heat from a gas burner over the surface of a pos,
especially when cooking easily burnable foods. Diffusers usually have a
wooden handle which you can keep or discard.

On another matter, I enjoyed your site,  especially the photos of you
children.  We have grandkids.  From you site,  I discovered MIDI.  I
have MIDI on my computer, but I never knew what it was.  I'm exploring
MIDI. Delightful!.

We liked you Westy, too.  We have an '84, white, pristine shape here in
the Desert of Southern California, rust-free......
