Subject: VANAGON WITH AUDI ENGINES
Comments: To: VANAGON@VANAGON.COM

Hi there

My name is Renier Marais and I'm from South-Africa. Because I am new on this list you might already know what I'm going to say here. Did you know that they still make the Microbus (Vanagon) here in South-Africa? Do they still make the Vanagon elsewhere in the world? There are three different engines available here namely the 1.8 'Volksiebus', wich is in fact a Jetta engine. Then you get the 2.3 and 2.6 5-silinder Audi derived Microbus and top of the range Caravelle. According to VWSA the Microbus would not be changed to a newer model in the near future. So if you are looking for cheap new parts, look no further, we still make them babies! But like I said, I'm new so you propably know this already
