Subject: Twin Cities VW Swap Meet this Saturday

This is a late reminder to all who may be interested that there will be an all VW swap meet on Saturday, 3-28-98, at Countryside VW, Highways 36 & 61, Maplewood, MN (suburb of St. Paul). I think this refers to parts, not car, swapping, but you never know.

Things should be in high gear by 9:00 a.m., and will probably last until mid afternoon.

If you start driving now, figuring time for coffee, gas, and snack breaks, you could easily get 11 hours of driving time. So, @ 65 mph average speed (go slower at night, please), that gives a range of 725 miles. Therefore, anyone from Detroit, Cincinnati, St. Louis, North Platte, or Regina (or anyplace closer) has no reasonable excuse for not attending.

I hope to see some of you there. Just look for the guy with the "Got Cars" baseball hat.
