I've run at least five units of Bars Leak (at first it came in a dry
tubular form and later in a liquid) through my Syncro and a couple
through my Carat and haven't experienced any problems yet. In the Syncro,
I was trying to stop what I thought was a head leak, but found out it was
a short hose at the water pump. Whenever the leak occurred, I would add a
unit of Bars Leak and it would stop for several months, then we would
repeat the procedure. After I discovered the real problem and replaced
the hose, I've had no more water loss. 195K

On the Carat, it was a leak in the rear heater core, problem solved, at
least for the last three years. 152K
