Hey Volks, I need some help. I'm planning to change my coolant for the first time this weekend and I'm nervous because I don't want to overheat my 85 1.9 auto westie. The van had 95000 miles on it and I can't afford a head job right now. I looked at Bentley and that seems straight forward enough but does it work? A friend of mine tried it but always ended up with bubbles (he followed the manual). I looked in the archives and got only 10 hits or so. Some people talked about putting in extra fittings, unhitching hoses, etc. that made me nervous because it is so far from Bentley. So...

1. Any suggestions for search words for the archives would be appreciated 2. Suggestions from the list's vast experience would also be appreciated

Thanks in advance for your help,

Later,

Stephen Davis 85 Westie
