Cracks in heads only matter if they go all the way through a valve seat or to the water jacket, etc.

JB Weld is non-conductive from an electrolysis point of view. If it's sanded smoothm all it's doing is filling pits, not acting as a gross structural component. Having used this stuff in other places, I would trust this kind of repair on wasserboxer heads..
