i know of some guys selling an '87 syncros. not quite what your
looking for but here ya go anyway.

Tom Woodruf in Portland (palawan@nlis.net) has got a sweet sounding
maroon syncro for 4500. it's got 125 000 miles on it, the heads here
reaplaced at 90 000. it needs a new exhaust though.

Guy (guy@photografius.com) in Minneapolis has also got a Syncro with
the weekender package for sale. He's asking $950 for it, but it needs
new head gaskets. At this point (154 000 miles) coolent is going into
the combustion chamber, lots of smoke and stuff, not good, but if your
up for a chore and good to tow it, might be a deal.
