Maybe a cursing tax would be better.  Why is it when people can't get other
people to come around to their way of thinking or can't express their ideas
well, instead of stopping and trying to figure out what they are really trying
to say and how to say it they just get frustrated and start cursing at each
other?  It accomplishes nothing besides making people angry and then they
won't listen to what you were trying to say in the first place.

I don't enjoy flame wars.  If I wanted to hear people yelling obscenities at
each other I would go back to High School or join the military (no offense
intended to any enlisted List members).
I want to learn from other people and this List has been and should be a place
for exchange of thought and helping others get their vans on the road and keep
them there.
That is why I have stayed out of this "smog" topic and will continue to stay
out of it until the discussion gets civilized again.
