Hi volks,

Dunno why the issue of "informed consent" is so important to me, but it is.

Coyote sent me a very helpful explanation, as did Lynn, and it will be my pleasure to chip in. This truly is a good way to do it; and i'm well aware that in any case, Lynn would have the freedom to choose whatever she wanted to charge, and do whatever she chose with the proceeds. So I commend her highly for creating this painless way for all of us to participate in keeping our list going.

I want to reiterate that I value this list very highly, and i have not hesitated to contribute in the past. Ron and Chris have earned my appreciation and esteem by stepping forward to take over the list, and I have no reservations about supporting their work on our behalf.

gail
