Thanks Gregg, your experience is encouraging.

I heard a hint the other day about getting cushions back into covers:

put the foam insert into a lightweight plastic bag, pull the cover on, and then pull the plastic bag out in pieces. Sounds like it may be a good strategy [would Martha Stewart lie?]. <g> Could be a bit difficult to find large enuf bags, but i imagine even wrapping it in clear plastic wrap could do it.
