Gail--

I recently washed the curtains in my 83.5 Westy. Woolite in cold water on the delicate cycle. Then I hung them dry. The results were great. The curtains were pretty grungy, and even greasy before washing. I had just purchased the Westy and I guess the DPO cooked a fair amount inside the bus. The curtains cleaned up real nice. Although my curtains sound different than yours. Mine have no liners. Just one piece of woven fabric.

My one piece of advice would be to mark each curtain according to location to ease the re-installation. I just used increasing numbers of safety pins. May seem a little silly by the time I got to ten, but it worked.

Good Luck Jeff 83.5 Westy
